coldness and lightness is a work by choreographer Ashley Thorndike-Youssef with electroacoustic composer Peter V. Swendsen. I performed alongside Annie Kloppenberg, Claire Alrich, Candace Scarborough, and Laurie Atkins.

The staging puts the audience close to the dancing — intimate, though not interactive, with a clear line between performer and audience — so the work can be taken in all at once, physically and intellectually. Performed at Dance Loft on 14, Washington, DC.
