Hey Mu! tells the story of growing up with my grandmother, mom, and sister, using dance and technology. I made it with Maya Orchin, Stefanie Nelson, and Maria Takeuchi (ÉMU), and it was performed at Theaterlab (357 W 36th St, 3rd Floor) in New York on November 19 and 21, 2021, as part of Mothers, Myths, Monsters: Matrophobia — Theaterlab's artist-led residency of short works curated by Stefanie Nelson.

Writing in The Dance Enthusiast, Christine Jowers described moving through the piece like traveling through a video game toward my grandmother's house, where our avatars dance together in the driveway.
